In a recent exclusive interview with Sky Sports, Spurs’ number 10 and fan favourite Harry Kane revealed that he wishes to spend the rest of his playing days at the north London club.

Harry Kane struggled to break into the Spurs team a few years ago and when Tottenham signed Roberto Soldado, for what then was a club record fee, there didn’t seem much hope left for the young striker. As he has done throughout his career, Kane worked his socks off and when Roberto Soldado wasn’t firing in the goals that Spurs fans hoped he would, Harry Kane stepped up and never looked back.

“I’d love to stay here. The club is in great shape at the moment, and we’re going forward as a club, and that’s important,” the Tottenham talisman insisted. “As long as there’s a vision with the club, and we’re not stale, we’re going forward as a club.”

“At the moment, we’re an excited group of young players with a great manager, great training ground and a new stadium coming too. I’d love to stay for the rest of my career.”

It’s been a long time since Spurs have had a player with the love and passion Kane has for the club, not to mention, the footballing ability to go with it all. These quotes will fill all Spurs fans with nothing but happiness knowing that our number 10 has the intention of spending his playing career at White Hart Lane.

Harry Kane is yet to score this season for Spurs, but he remains one goal away from reaching his 50th Premier League goal and the Englishman will certainly be hoping to reach that landmark against Liverpool in Spurs’ early kick off tomorrow.
