Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly turned their attention to Spanish and Barcelona forward Munir El Haddadi, according to Spanish outlet Sport.
Despite the rumors of a deal being agreed for Marseille winger Georges-Kévin N’Koudou quietening down, they have since resurfaced in recent days alongside the reported interest in Munir. Tottenham looks to bolster the depth of their squad as they head into, what will be, a gruesome campaign.
The 20-year-old is unlikely to feature this season for the Catalan club, falling behind Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar in the pecking order, is valued at around £13M. Reports surfacing on the transfer have reported that Barcelona are demanding that the deal includes a ‘buy-back clause’, in which Daniel Levy is not interested in the slightest.
It is still unclear whether there is any real interest from Tottenham, but Munir himself has set to have said he is waiting for a bid from the Lilywhite’s after Stoke City and Crystal Palace were also reportedly keen on the striker. If Barcelona are reluctant to sell the player without a buy-back clause, it is hard to see this deal even close to finalising.
